This was the first time I did a solo in subjects that keep being some of my main ones, as a women, as an artist and as an activist. The starting point was a photo of a women in a stand, like if it was an object to be seen and purchased by white society. All the world fairs, where exoticism and Orientalism were a standard for entertainment of the bourgeoise. From that the idea of the female body, caged as an animal, tamed, controlled and exposed. Maybe until today.
